Ching-Wen Tsai

Ching-Wen Tsai is an interdisciplinary artist and designer from Taiwan, educated in Singapore and the United States. She has studied, worked, and exhibited in Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, France, U.K, South Africa, and the United States. Tsai has been exploring the body-mind-spirit theme for years. Using primarily mixed-media installations and sculpture, Tsai seeks to awaken interest in the spiritual world’s mysteries by giving physical forms of none existences or redefining stereotypes. Tsai worked in interior design, advertising design, and creative consulting while actively exhibiting her artworks within the United States and beyond. Her artworks were included and exhibited by Modern Japan Art Society in Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum and awarded Excellent Prize in 2018. Her first art book design, On The Map, was sponsored to publish by the Ministry of Culture and Heritage of Ecuador in 2019. She has been a member of the Roosevelt Island Visual Art Association (RIVAA) in 2020. In 2021, She had a trio exhibition at Union City Museum of Art (William V. Must Cultural Center) in New Jersey; and rewarded City Artist Corps Grants by the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs. Tsai now lives and works in New York City.
